This NZ Maori Fish Hook Trophy is simple but very attractive.

Made from native timber matai, the hook is embellished on the front with a paua shell eye. Paua shell is New Zealand's native abalone shell, with beautiful shades of blue, green, pink and purple.

The trophy measures approximately 21cm (8 1/2') from the ground. The base measures approximately 10cm x 6.8cm x 2cm (4' x 2 5/8' x 3/4').

The Maori Fish Hook design has a spiritual meaning, one of peace, prosperity, good health, strength and safe travel over water.

The trophy is proudly made in New Zealand.
